Pamela Paspa

Assistant Dean of Career Education & Associate Director of Career Communities - Engineering & The School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences

Tell us something interesting about your background?
I'm a non-traditional student and a lifelong learner. I didn't take the usual path through education. I started with a GED, then onto community college, received my undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, then my Masters degree shortly after that. I am currently obtaining my Doctorate degree in Organizational Change and Leadership. After my doctorate, I'll continue taking classes and learning. To me, life is all about knowledge and how to have fun in an impactful way.

What has led you to your current role?
I love seeing potential in everyone. I once had someone ask me what I wanted to do with my life. No one had ever asked me that before. After reflecting on the question I knew that working in education, teaching, coaching, and supporting students and staff was the right path for me.

In your spare time, what do you enjoy doing?
I love design! Anytime I can design anything from concept to deliverable I am happiest. I get completely lost in the flow and process of creation.
