Meet Lee Jackson ’12, Co-founder of Black Careers Matter! Lee Jackson and his classmate Keshav Rao co-founded Black Careers Matter to help increase the representation of Black, Latinx, and Indigenous men and women in the financial industry. Lee started his career on Wall Street as Morgan Stanley’s agricultural commodity research analyst. He later became a buy-side macro research analyst, spending two years at the family office Tiger Management and another two at the hedge fund Key Square. He currently is an independent investor.

Lee graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with Honors. Lee attributes who he is today to Jackie Robinson. He gives the following advice to Stanford students, “Supporting others is a great way of supporting oneself.” Be sure to connect with him at mentoring.stanford.edu!
