A leader in the biomedical revolution, Stanford Medicine has a long tradition of leadership in pioneering research, creative teaching protocols and effective clinical therapies. Stanford Medicine comprises three organizations: Stanford School of Medicine, Stanford Healthcare, and Stanford Children’s Health.
In 1959 a group of Stanford University employees pooled their resources to create a bank, Stanford Federal Credit Union. The membership now includes the entire Stanford community—faculty, staff, students, volunteers, alumni, employees of Stanford Health Care and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.
Stanford Management Company invests Stanford University's endowment funds. The endowment provides critical financial support to current and future generations of students and scholars, supplying over one fifth of the University’s operating budget each year.
