August 31, 2021 - 12:00pm to 1:30pm
Your CV is one of the most important documents you create and revise as a graduate student or postdoc. CVs are expected for Fellowship applications, when applying for a postdoctoral position, and for academic job searches. As a group, we will look at the CVs that you bring and together we will work to improve them. Before the session, please watch the video called "CV Basics" that we created just for you. The video gives you advice about the structure, content and formatting of your CV. It is found on the BEAM, Stanford Career Education YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/pOeD9GCOV-8 Feel free to also check out the Formatting Tricks video. https://youtu.be/t6QafbyznJg Bring your questions and your CV. -------------------------------- Accessibility features of Zoom include closed captioning, automatic transcripts, keyboard accessibility, and screen reader support.
