PlusFive Alumni: Crafting Your Professional Digital Presence

August 11, 2021 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Event Type:
Workshop
Have you ever Googled yourself? If so, what information shows up on that first page? It might seem like you don't have much control over what you see about yourself in a search, but the fact is, you do. Now, more than ever, the first impression you make on the people you meet will be online. Whether it's your headline and experience on LinkedIn or a bio on your own website, what story do you want to share about who you are and your experience? This virtual session will provide a framework for how you can cultivate your online presence (such as your LinkedIn profile, personal website, social media) so that employers and collaborators can find you. You’ll leave this session with strategies and concrete next steps for creating, strengthening, and disseminating your digital story. This virtual workshop is part of the PlusFive program and is for 2021 graduates and alumni who graduated within the past five years. This workshop is part of the 3-part Professional Digital Presence Series.
